School officials increased security at Monroe-Woodbury High School Friday after food fights and end-of-the-year pranks got out of hand the day before.?I thought it was [going to] be crazy but the security was already there and they kept breaking everybody up,? says student Calvin Jara.Local police officers and K-9s rushed to the school Thursday to break up intense food and water balloon fights that left one school resource officer injured. Police put the school on lockdown as a result of the fights.Five Monroe-Woodbury students were arrested and charged with disorderly conduct for allegedly throwing cans and water bottles during the fights.The school district is investigating the incident.
