Plea deal offered to alleged Sloatsburg 'Party Mom'

A plea deal was offered to the alleged Sloatsburg ?Party Mom? Wednesday.
Beth Modica, 44, pleaded not guilty to a 35-count indictment last month that includes charges of rape and sexual abuse.
Investigators say over the summer, Modica hosted parties for her son?s Suffern High School friends at her home and provided the teens with booze and marijuana. Investigators also say she had sex with 15- and 16-year-old boys.
The former Rockland County prosecutor has now been offered a plea deal that would end the alleged sex case without a trial.
In exchange for pleading guilty to third-degree rape and criminal sexual act, Modica would receive one to three years in state prison. However, instead of jail time, Modica?s attorney is pushing for a sentence of probation if his client decides to plead guilty to the two felony charges.
Modica, whose estranged husband is the Spring Valley police chief, is expected back in court later this month.
