Voters cast ballots in primary showdown
Voters in Westchester and Hudson Valley headed to the polls for Super Tuesday as Sen. Hillary Clinton and former President Bill Clinton cast their ballots in Chappaqua.
Millions of Americans from 24 states across the country are taking part in Super Tuesday. New York has a big stake in Super Tuesday with 280 delegates. Voter turnout is expected to be large on a day that could define the 2008 race for the White House.
Former president Clinton said casting a vote for his wife is one of the proudest moments of his life.According to the latest polls, Sen. Hillary Clinton and Sen. Barack Obama are neck and neck going into the primary. On the Republican side, the polls show Sen. John McCain with a comfortable lead over Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee.
