Cross-burning suspect's sister arrested in case

The sister of one of the cross-burning suspects in Cortlandt was arrested Thursday in connection to the case.
Danielle Hudak, 16, was charged with menacing in the third degree. Police say Hudak threatened one of the witnesses in the cross-burning case involving her brother.
Hudak?s brother Christopher, 20, is accused of setting a wooden cross on fire on the front lawn of the Atrope?s home in November. Authorities say the Atrope?s son and Danielle Hudak had gotten in an argument earlier in the day and the cross-burning was in retaliation.
Ryan Martin, 19, was also charged in the case. Police say Martin drove Christopher Hudak to a gas station and then to the family?s yard.
Hudak was released on her own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in Cortlandt town court on Jan. 25. Related information: Second man charged in Cortlandt cross burning DA: Cross burning suspect threatened witness
