Posted: Updated:

Family and friends said a final farewell to a New Windsor girl ki lled in a car crash earlier this week.

Police believe 20-year-old Jessica Morales, who was driving a Honda Civic, may have fallen asleep at the wheel when she crashed Sunday in Cornwall. They said Morales? car crossed over into oncoming traffic and smashed into an SUV and another car head on.

Friends and family who gathered at St. Joseph?s Church in Spring Valley remembered Morales as a kind-hearted person.

?I don't think that I've met any other 20-year-old that was so giving,? cousin Alexandra Aponte said. ?She just thought of everybody else before she thought about herself."

Morales had just recently organized a clothing drive to benefit earthquake victims in Peru. The family is planning to have her body cremated.
