Tires slashed on 20 cars in Central Nyack parking lot

Police in Central Nyack are looking for the individuals responsible for slashing the tires of 20 cars on Sunday.
Police say incident occurred in the parking lot at the Waldron Heights apartment complex early in the morning.
Some of the cars had two tires destroyed while others had all four cut. Resident Sheryl Cherry, a victim of the vandalism, says it will cost $175 to replace her rear tire.
Several cars had to be towed away for repairs at cost to the owners, while others replaced the tires themselves.
Clarkstown police are asking for anyone with any information about the incident to call them at 845-639-5800.
