Student arrested for bomb threat at Ramapo H.S.
A 15-year-old student was arrested Thursday for allegedly calling in a bomb threat at Ramapo High School in Spring Valley.Police say the threat was called in to the school around 7:42 a.m. The school was immediately evacuated and the Rockland County Bomb Squad searched the building. After about two hours, the school was swept by police and nothing was found. Students then returned to classes.
Ramapo police say they traced the cell phone the threat was called in from. According to investigators, it led to a female student. Police say she was picked up at the school during the evacuation.
