Police in New Windsor made an unexpected discovery at a self storage facility over the weekend.

Police busted an illegal drug lab that was allegedly run by a 39-year-old homeless man out of a Guardian Self Storage facility in New Windsor. Police say they found jars, vats and fertilizer that were used by Michael Stephan to grow hallucinogenic mushrooms. Police say they were tipped off by another renter who smelled something strange coming from Stephan's unit.

Stephan is charged with felony drug possession. Police have still not determined whether Stephan intended to sell the drugs.
