V.P. Cheney addresses West Point graduating class

The graduating class of 2007 of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point were dressed in their cadet grays Saturday as they heard encouraging words from the nation?s second in command.
The cadets gave a formal salute as Vice President Dick Cheney took to the stage to talk to the new soldiers. Cheney defended the war in Iraq during his speech.
Cheney also promised the cadets, ?Whatever lies ahead, the U.S. Army will have all of the equipment, supplies, manpower, training and support essential to victory.?
Many cadets described the vice president's words as inspirational and honest. After enduring four years of hard work both mentally and physically, the cadets stood proud as they are now second lieutenants in the United States Army.
