Police say a female Minisink Valley Middle School teacher engaged in cyber sex with a 16-year-old boy. State police say 31-year-old Awilda Armato exchanged sexually explicit phone calls and e-mail messages with the Texas boy. Police say they met online when the boy was 14. Armato is charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
School officials say Armato has been suspended with pay. The school district and police stress she's not accused of any inappropriate behavior with students at the school.
