Middletown man accused of trying to kill his boss

A fight broke out between two maintenance workers in Middletown and now one of them is facing charges that include attempted murder.
Police say 34-year-old Josue Nassim Leon Buitron, of Middletown, was involved in a fight with his supervisor, Victor Fajardo, of Newburgh, Thursday night. The two men are maintenance workers at the Crystal Run Health Care. Police say Buitron slashed Fajardo on the side of his neck and threatened to kill the victim when state troopers arrived at the building.
Buitron was arrested and charged with attempted murder, assault, criminal possession of a weapon and unlawful imprisonment. He is being held at the Orange County jail. Fajardo, 49, was taken to Orange Regional Medical Center for treatment and released.
Both men are not Crystal Run Health Care employees. The two work for Facilities Maintenance Corp. in Poughkeepsie, and were contracted to handle housekeeping at the Crystal Run building.
