Hit reality show puts Orange County on the map

Posted: Updated:

Orange County is second on the list of fastest-growing counties in New York, but it?s the hit TV show ?American Chopper? that put the county on the map.

The audience continues to grow for the Discovery Channel show featuring the now famous Orange County Choppers. It follows the company founder, Paul Teutul Sr., his sons and the shop?s crew as they build custom choppers for corporations and celebrities. However, it?s the drama between father and son that keeps the audience riveted.

People can?t seem to get enough of the Teutuls, but it made audiences wonder where exactly Orange County is located. Teutul Sr. says, ?at the beginning it was a pain in the butt, but then I got this tattoo of New York on my arm on television.?

Teutul Sr. keeps expanding his shop and construction is underway in Newburgh for a worldwide headquarters. He says he is going to continue with the show as long as he can. The show has made the Teutuls local and international celebrities. Now, people know exactly where Orange County is located.
