Peekskill H.S. student brutally beaten in apparent gang attack
Four Peekskill High School students have been arrested in what police are calling an apparent gang attack. According to police, 15-year-old Latonya Fisher?s attackers thought she wrote about a local street gang called "G-4" on the Internet. Police say in response, she was brutally attacked in front of the Second Street Deli. Four days after the attack, police arrested 16-year-olds Jermaine and Jamarr Walker, Anthony Fox and 17-year-old Faith Scott. Police say more arrests are expected within the coming days. On Monday, two dozen teens skipped class to protest the arrests outside Peekskill Police Headquarters. One protester, whose brother was among those arrested, says gang violence is getting out of control at the school and something has to be done.
