Sergeant Jonathan Cadavero, 24, was killed by a roadside bomb while riding in an armored Humvee in Baghdad Tuesday. He worked as a medic for the Second Brigade Special Troops Battalion. Cadavero?s family says he served his country as he lived his life, with commitment, integrity and honor.
Cadavero married his girlfriend a few months ago. She is also serving in Iraq with a military police unit. The couple was planning a big wedding celebration when they both returned home to the states. Instead, his wife is flying home for her husband's funeral services.
