More than a year after the incident, a New Windsor teen is facing arson charges in a Little League building fire in Cornwall.

According to police, 18-year-old Colin Marron broke through a door at the town's landmark Little League building, poured an accelerant and set the structure on fire. Police say Marron told them he was very mad and wanted to do something bad. The building was a symbol of the great American pastime to residents. It stored baseball memorabilia and equipment for the more than 1,100 kids that participate in Cornwall?s Little League.

After the fire, the town thought it would cost more than $400,000 to rebuild the building. However, with help from the community and donations, a new building was put up and will hopefully be ready for opening day. Meanwhile, Marron is charged with three felonies and is being held at Orange County Jail. He could face up to 15 years behind bars if convicted.
