Alleged rape victim testifies in West Point cadet court-martial

The prosecution rested its case Tuesday in the court-martial of a West Point cadet accused of raping two former cadets.
Cadet Lonnie Story, 22, is accused of raping two former Army cadets in separate incidents in January and October 2005. One of the alleged victims testified Tuesday that she did not know the other alleged victim and didn't know anything about that woman's allegations. A doctor testified one of the victims had injuries after the incident, but he conceded those injuries could also have come from consensual sex. Story?s lawyers contend the sex was consensual.
When the hearing resumes, the defense will call its witnesses. At the end of the court-martial, a five-person panel will decide the Story?s fate. If convicted, Story faces expulsion from the military academy and a possible life sentence.
