Foot Locker employees robbed of thousands at West Nyack mall

Police are investigating a robbery where two Foot Locker employees were robbed of a cash deposit at the Palisades Center in West Nyack Tuesday.

According to Clarkstown police, two Foot Locker employees were going to make a usual cash deposit around 10 a.m. Police say two men approached the employees inside the third-floor elevator of the mall. They say no weapon was displayed but they gave up thousands of dollars in cash fearing retaliation.

Police are investigating whether the employees were targeted or if it was a random attack. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Clarkstown Police Department at 845-639-5800.
