Posted: Updated:

Orangetown police arrested a convicted sex offender from New Jersey for a series of flashing incidents that plagued parts of Rockland County.

According to police, 32-year-old Eric Hortsman flashed two women at Luna Lounge in Nyack. The women gave police a description of Hortsman and his vehicle and he was quickly arrested. Detectives believe he's responsible for the flashings in Orangetown and Clarkstown this summer.

Hortsman is charged with two crimes, including a felony for forcibly touching. Police say the crime is a felony because of Hortsman?s sex offender status. Police say Hortsman could be charged in at least 20 incidents.
