Family, friends say goodbye to Yonkers man killed in Tappan Zee plunge

Family and friends gathered together Saturday to say goodbye to a Yonkers man who they say died under controversial circumstances. The funeral Mass was held at Sacred Heart Church on Convent Avenue in Yonkers. Dominick Bifolco's, 26, life came to a tragic end last Friday morning when he was driving on the Tappan Zee Bridge. Police say Bifolco, who was on his way home from a party where he was believed to be drinking, got into an accident with a delivery truck. Investigators say he told them he had to vomit, headed to the railing and took the fatal plunge. His family and friends say he had everything going for him and that he would never commit suicide. Everyone at the funeral says they are hoping for some closure as a criminal investigation into the incident gets underway. Related Information
