A plan to build a power line along a 190 mile stretch of land has angered many Hudson Valley residents. New York Regional Interconnect says the1,200 megawatt line, which would run all the way from Utica to New Windsor, will make the state?s electric system more efficient. The company says it will also allow power to flow easily to areas in need of more electricity. Otisville resident Mike Teplitz has posted signs in his yard stating his opposition to the proposed power line project. He says the project will lower property values. In Cuddebackville, anti-power signs were posted all over the neighborhood. Residents held a large rally against the project Wednesday night.
