Police investigate fight with possible shots fired in Nyack

Police are trying to piece together what happened in Nyack Tuesday that landed one man in the hospital and may have led to gunfire.

According to police, a fight started at a house in South Nyack. They say a man was chased through Nyack and was finally jumped on Main Street. The man hit his head on a windowsill and his hands went through the glass of a business. Police say another individual exited a vehicle and started beating the victim. Then witnesses say they heard about four gunshots.

Police did not find any bullet holes but got a description of the suspects? car. The victim was taken to Nyack Hospital with head injuries and a possible concussion. He is not cooperating with police. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Orangetown Police Department at 845-359-3700.
