Security, parking will be tight as U.S. Open set to tee off in Westchester

Posted: Updated:

The U.S. Open tees off this week in Mamaroneck with 50,000 or more spectators expected every day. Security and parking at the Winged Foot Club are two of the biggest issues expected to inconvenience more than just the fans. Driving and parking in and around Mamaroneck will be a problem, especially at the Metro-North train station. Commuters who park in metered spaces will have to find alternate spots to make way for the U.S Open bus staging and security screening area. Metro-North will be operating extra service to Mamaroneck where ticket holders will get free bus rides to Winged Foot. News 12 Westchester U.S. Open Preview
