Faso hits the ground running in campaign for governor

Republican gubernatorial candidate John Faso is hitting the campaign trail and hitting hard on taxes.
Faso told News 12 Westchester he wants to double the STAR exemption over a four-year period. Faso says that can be possible if the growth of local school taxes is capped and the school districts are given the ability to manage within that cap. Faso says his Democratic opponent, Eliot Spitzer, has made too many promises to cut taxes.
Faso?s fundraising has picked up since fellow Republican William Weld dropped out of the race. Faso admits he is the underdog, but says he doesn?t mind being in that position.
