Four teens arrested for stealing jewelry, cash from Warwick home

Four teens have been arrested for stealing jewelry and $40,000 from a home in Warwick. Warwick police say the teens, between the ages of 16 and 18, knew the home was going to be empty Friday and took advantage of an opportunity to steal the vacationing family's safe. Police say the teens admitted to throwing the safe into nearby Greenwood Lake. A police dive team searched the lake for hours and recovered stolen jewelry and car keys. Police found some of the cash on one of the suspects, but the safe and the rest of the money are still missing. The teens have been charged with burglary and grand larceny. Their identities are not being released because of their ages.
