Some residents in Westchester, Rockland and Orange counties started heading to the polls early Tuesday for village elections.

There are several mayoral and village trustee races in Westchester and the Hudson Valley. In Buchanan, Democratic incumbent Dan O?Neill and Republican candidate, former Mayor Al Donahue, are battling for mayor for the fourth consecutive time. In Larchmont, Republican incumbent Mayor Ken Bialo is being challenged by Republican Deputy Mayor Liz Feld.

Some of the trustee seats up for grabs in the Westchester villages include Briarcliff Manor, Croton, Hastings, Irvington, Pleasantville and Tarrytown. In Rockland County, open trustee seats are in Grand View, Hillburn and South Nyack among others.
