County worker accused of stealing $3K

YONKERS -

A Westchester worker has been busted for allegedly stealing more than $3,000 from the county.

Michael Taylor, 44, of Dutchess County, has been charged with grand larceny.

Officials say he stole cash, checks and money orders from the benefits section of the County Finance Department where he worked for the past nine years

He is now suspended without pay. Bail was set at $50,000 bond or $10,000 cash.
