Orange County authorities have released a photo of two suspects wanted in connection with an animal abuse case out of Newburgh.
A dog named "Luna" was found frozen and starved this past winter, caged behind a piece of plywood and a blanket in the backyard of an abandoned property.
Since then, SPCA officials and Newburgh police have conducted an exhaustive search, fueled by an onslaught of community outrage about how the dog died.
Neighbors along Carter Street were the ones to call police, but authorities say they've had a hard time getting anyone to talk.
A $2,000 reward is now being offered in the case.
