White Plains H.S. celebrates Earth week

WHITE PLAINS -

White Plains High School is celebrating Earth week by discussing important environmental issues.

The student club "Advocates for the Earth" has been teaching other students about water waste, pollution and using too much electricity.

"We'd like to empower kids so that instead of contributing to their carbon footprint they can provide a carbon handprint," says Advocates for the Earth Advisor Paul Davis.

Earth Day will take place on Saturday, April 22.
