WEST NYACK -

A traffic alert has been issued for the Tappan Zee Bridge this week.

Work on the tolls is expected to squeeze traffic down to one lane every night this week.

Three lanes on the southbound/eastbound side of the Thruway will be closed from 8-11 p.m. from Exit 12 in West Nyack to the bridge. 

All lanes will reopen at 5 a.m. The work ends Friday.
