Drug ring busted in Orange County

More than a dozen people were arrested as police busted a drug trafficking ring Wednesday in Orange County, according to authorities.



The Orange County District Attorney's Office says 15 men and women are accused of selling heroin, cocaine and prescription narcotics in Middletown, Port Jervis and Newburgh.



The Orange County Drug Task Force named the sting "Operation April Showers."



So far, there have been 15 confirmed overdose deaths this year in Orange County.



The group of alleged drug dealers face up to nine years behind bars if convicted.
