Trial for woman accused in kayak death to begin in June

The trial for the woman accused in the murder of her fiancé after he drowned in a kayak accident is set to begin on June 13.



The 37-year-old Angelika Graswald was in Orange County court for a pre-trial hearing today.



Graswald is accused of murdering her fiance, Vincent Viafore, while the two kayaked on the Hudson River in 2015.



Her defense team says Viafore was drunk and kayaking without a life vest. Prosecutors say the two were having problems, and Graswald wanted to cash out on his life insurance
