Dozens protest Syrian Orthodox church

<p>Roughly 100 people turned out in New City Monday evening to protest a plan to build a Syrian Orthodox church in their neighborhood. The Malankara Catholic Church purchased a 11,000-square-foot property on Mountain View Avenue to build a place of worship and a 55-space parking lot.</p>
