Forecast: Temperatures in the 80s, afternoon storms possible

EDISON -

A few counties across New Jersey still remain under flood warnings after heavy rain showers fell Monday across parts of the state, causing dangerous flooding conditions.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says temperatures Tuesday will be in the mid-80s, with early sun turning to clouds later in the day. Curren says to expect hit or miss rain showers and thunderstorms from about 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. The rain is expected to clear for a time by Wednesday.

Temperatures overnight will drop into the high-60s, with mostly cloudy skies.

Wednesday is expected to see temperatures in the low-90s, with mainly sunny skies.

Thursday should also see mainly sunny skies. Temperatures will be in the mid-90s.

More rain is expected for Friday, going into the weekend.
