Forecast: Sunny, mild weekend ahead in New Jersey

New Jersey saw a mix of sun and clouds Friday with mild temperatures in the upper-30s and low-40s.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says that temperatures should warm up for the weekend, under mostly sunny skies.

Friday’s overnight hours should see mostly clear skies with temperatures in the 20s.

Friday’s overnight hours should see mostly clear skies with temperatures in the 20s.

Saturday is expected to see mostly sunny skies with high temperatures around 50 degrees. Clouds could develop overnight with temperatures cooling into the mid-30s.

Sunday should also see sunny skies with temperatures slightly cooler in the mid-40s.

Monday should see mostly cloudy conditions with some light rain. Temperatures are expected to be in the upper-40s.

Heavier rain is expected for Tuesday with high temperatures around 54 degrees.
