Strong thunderstorms move in over parts of New Jersey

Strong thunderstorms have moved in over parts of New Jersey.

News 12 New Jersey meteorologists say that the storms are expected to bring some flooding due to the amount of rain. Lightning and strong winds could lead to storm damage around the state.

The National Weather Service issued flash flood and flooding warnings for many counties around the state.

The storms are expected to last until the evening.

The overnight hours should see partly cloudy skies with temperatures cooling to the upper-60s.

Wednesday should see mostly sunny skies with temperatures in the upper-80s.

Thursday should also see mostly sunny skies with temperatures around 83 degrees.
