Forecast: Snow predicted for Thursday evening commute

Parts of New Jersey could see snow flurries for Thursday’s evening commute.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says that the snow should mostly fall on areas of the state north of Interstate-78. Other parts of New Jersey should see some rain.

Wednesday saw mostly cloudy skies with temperatures in the 30s. Wednesday’s overnight hours are expected to continue to see cloudy skies with temperatures in the 20s.

Thursday is expected to start off cloudy, with the snow and rain coming by the late afternoon and early evening. High temperatures should only be in the low-40s and upper-30s.

Friday should see some rain with warmer temperatures in the upper-40s.

The weekend should continue to see rain. Curren says that there is the possibility of a thunderstorm Saturday.
