YONKERS -

A coastal storm is continuing to trek through Westchester and the Hudson Valley from Saturday night into Monday morning.

The storm has already produced moderate to heavy rain and cooler temperatures in the 50s. Temperatures overnight will be in the mid-40s, News 12 forecasters say.

News 12 reporter Richard Giacovas was in Yonkers along the Saw Mill Parkway where drivers were urged by authorities to take it slow on the wet roadways.

Forecasters say Mother's Day will be warmer with temperatures in the low-60s. There is a chance of late-day thunderstorms.
