New York State police celebrate 100 years of service

The New York State police are celebrating 100 years of service with special events throughout the state.
Hundreds of well-wishers braved the heavy rain Sunday to turn out for acentennial celebration at the "Troop F" Open House in Middletown.
Displays of antique police cars, uniforms and vintage weapons gave the crowd a behind-the-scenes look at crime-fighting through the decades.
A special wall of photos also honored troopers who lost their lives in the line of duty.
The New York State police was founded following the unsolved 1913 murder of a man during an armed robbery in Westchester County.
