Edgemont High School in Scarsdale was placed in lockdown mode Monday morning.

Police shut down the campus around 10 a.m. due to a threat on a written note that was discovered in one of the girl's bathrooms. No one was allowed in or out of the building while the lockdown was in place.

Police searched the campus, but found no credible threat.

The lockdown was lifted around 11:30 a.m., and school resumed its normal schedule.
