Police: Driver drove wrong way on 3 parkways

A man is under arrest for driving the wrong way on the Cross County Parkway in Yonkers overnight.
Police say they got calls about Jason Eisenfeld, 34, of Old Bethpage, driving the wrong-way around 2:20 a.m. today on the Hutchinson River Parkway. Eisenfeld then went onto the Cross County Parkway driving westbound in the eastbound lanes.
Officers say they spotted the white Volkswagen Jetta  going the wrong way on Cross County, and alerted other officers who were on the Saw Mill Parkway.  An officer going southbound was able to stop the driver in the northbound lane on the Saw Mill near Executive Boulevard.
The Jetta narrowly avoided striking two county police patrol cars, but he was stopped before there were any crashes or injuries.
Eisenfeld is facing reckless endangerment, DWI and narcotics possession charges.
