Dozens gathered Monday for a star-studded award ceremony honoring music and film legends all while raising money for music scholarships.

Rock and roll legend Darlene Love and Oscar-nominated actor and Bedford resident Chazz Palminteri were honored at the Brae Burn Country Club in Purchase at an event to raise money for the Music Conservatory of Westchester.

The school helps educate low-income and special needs students, as well as returning military veterans, about music. "We are a tuition-based program and, as with any school that charges tuition, we want to make sure that everybody has access and the scholarship program ensures that," says Music Conservatory of Westchester Executive Director Jean Newton.

Donors enjoyed a day of golf, tennis, fine dining and entertainment.
