Trump’s approval ratings hit new low

WASHINGTON -

President Donald Trump’s approval rating has dropped to historic lows.

The latest ABC/Washington Post poll found just 36 percent approved of Trump’s performance, down from 42 percent in April.

That is the lowest percentage in the last 70 years for any president just six months into their term.

On Sunday, Trump brushed off the poll, saying it has a history of inaccuracy, while rounding up his approval rating to 40 percent.
