Pool for special needs kids approved

WEST NYACK -

Voters have said yes to a new pool to help special needs students in West Nyack.

Residents approved the nearly $4 million project to build the new adaptive swimming pool complex at the Jesse J. Kaplan School.

It won't cost taxpayers any extra money because the Rockland BOCES has been saving up to make the upgrade.

The new pool should be open for the summer of 2019.
