A Rockland woman was found dead in a car along Route 45 early Sunday morning, Ramapo police say.

Police say officers found an unresponsive woman when they responded to a call of a vehicle off the road along Route 45, just off of South Mountain Road around 5 a.m.

News 12 has learned the individual was rushed to Good Samaritan Hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

While authorities have not released her name, they say she is a 75-year-old from Pomona.
