WHITE PLAINS -

The Labor Day weekend getaway is not getting off to the best start in part of Westchester County.

A tractor-trailer crash made a mess of the morning commute on I-287 this morning.

Police say the driver lost control, went off the highway, and crashed into a bridge support around 7 a.m. on the eastbound side of I-287 right at exit 5 in Greenburgh.

The right lane of the roadway was closed for two hours and was finally reopened 9 a.m.

No injuries have been reported.  It is unknown yet what caused the truck to go off the highway
