WHITE PLAINS -

Gas prices across the Hudson Valley have continued to rise in the wake of Hurricane Harvey.

Harvey caused one-quarter of oil refineries in the Gulf Coast to be taken offline, sending gas prices soaring.

According to AAA, the national average for a gallon of gasoline is currently $2.64, up 27 cents from last week.

While some have found rates as low as $2.67 in Westchester, those that use stations in Rockland County have found prices as high as $3.37 a gallon at a Gulf on Route 59 in Nanuet.
