LAGRANGEVILLE -

More than half a dozen sharks were found in a home in the Hudson Valley last month.

The state DEC says it found several sharks swimming in a basement pool in Dutchess County. They say seven live sandbar sharks along with two dead leopard sharks and a dead hammerhead were discovered.

The live sharks have been taken to the  Long Island Aquarium.

No charges have been filed yet, but authorities are investigating.
