Kingston man pleads guilty in fatal crashPosted: Updated:
A Kingston man has pleaded guilty to vehicular manslaughter in front of an Orange County judge.
Authorities say James Black, 29, was driving his pick-up truck in Newburgh, while under the influence of alcohol and marijuana last December.
They say Black crashed into a tree on Quaker Street, killing passenger Detrell Pittman, 37, also of Kingston.
Black will be sentenced in November and faces between three and 10 years in state prison.
