Cheddar Morning Business Update 10/11: Walmart plans web sales increase

Posted: Updated:
NEW YORK -

Walmart plans to increase its online sales by 40 percent over the fiscal year. The retailer held its annual Investor Day and says it's creating a new website and plans to increase online sales in just the next two years. Walmart is also doubling the number of grocery pick up locations in the US.

The Wall Street Journal reports Time will cut the circulation on some of its most popular titles, including Time magazine. It will also publish some other magazines less often like Sports Illustrated, Entertainment Weekly and Fortune.

McDonald's 1998 Szechuan Sauce could be making a more permanent comeback. The chain quickly ran out of supplies when it brought back the sauce for a one day promotion. Many fans of the Sauce and the show Rick and Morty, whose main character loves it,  took to social media to express their disappointment. McDonald's promised to "make things right" with a larger rollout this winter.
