Former Clarkstown top cop sues to get job back

Clarkstown's former top cop is now fighting to get his job back.

Michael Sullivan has filed a lawsuit against the town.

His lawyer claims Town Supervisor George Hoehmann broke the law earlier this year when he cast a decisive vote to oust Sullivan over charges of illegal surveillance and abuse of power.

Sullivan is also hoping to unseat Hoehmann as town supervisor next month.
