4 sets of twins born on same day at Winthrop Hospital

Officials say a new record was set Wednesday in the maternity ward at NYU Winthrop Hospital in Mineola.

They say four sets of twins were born on the same day.

Officials say it was three sets of twin girls and one set of twin boys.

The eight babies were delivered over the course of six hours.

The parents say they're happy to be in good company and that everyone is healthy.
